I didn't think anyone was gonna show up this week. It was the day after Thanksgiving. I mean, who wants to eat a bowl of carbs the day after the biggest feast of the year (besides me, of course)? Turns out, I had 18 friends who did! And 10 of their children! And we all sat down to a pot of pasta fa-zoo and homemade cheesy garlic knots.
Pasta Friday #10 was hearty, crispy and full of rowdy children. This wasn't your typical chicken and potatoes. Curvy Radiatori and toasted panko soaked up buttery chicken juices and lemony verde sauce, while in the salad, cured black olives and mellow ricotta salata sat nicely on top of crispy purple potatoes.
